Park DescriptionFaerdre Caravan Park can be found situated on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The park is in the small village of Botwnnog, roughly 10 minutes from the seaside resort of Abersoch and 20 minutes from the coastal town of Pwllheli. The park is in a seemingly rural area, perfect for those who wish to escape from it all when on holiday. The country setting give Faerdre Caravan Park a peaceful atmosphere, where days can be spent unwinding surrounded by the stunning natural scenery.
This area of Wales is most famous for its beaches, from yellow sands and unusually warm waters, the Llyn Peninsula makes for the perfect location to spend your summer holidays. The area of Llyn Peninsula is renowned for having its own micro climate during the summer, making you feel like you are holidaying abroad, not in North Wales.
Whilst in this area, it would be rude to not try your hand at some water sports. From jet-skiing, wake-boarding or water-skiing, this area of Wales has specially trained experts who run regular lessons throughout the summer. Trying the local produce of this area is also a must, from fresh fish and seafood being served daily in many of the eateries and restaurants which line the streets of these coastal towns.

Local AreaThe Lleyn Peninsula is a peninsula of some 30 miles located south west of Anglesey. The area is best known for its miles of sandy beaches, stunning inland scenery and as a focal point for water sports fans. There is a modern marina at Pwllheli and surfing, sailing, kayaking and jet skiing particularly popular at locations such as Abersoch. The area also boasts a number of good golf courses.
Very popular with younger people and young families, many parks in the area offer longer seasons and many owners enjoy longer stays or commute for the weekends.
Main towns include Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Abersoch.
Although it takes a little longer to the Lleyn Peninsula, travel is easy from the Midlands and north west.
