Dolgamedd Caravan Park can be found on the west coast of North Wales in the Welsh market town of Dolgellau, in Gwynedd. Dolgamedd Caravan Park is a relaxed, stress-free and quiet holiday park with the aim of giving holiday makers a truly peaceful experience during their stay. Situated on the banks of the River Wnion, within the Snowdonia National Park, the park is surrounded by stunning natural wonders of mountains, lakes and rivers. The perfect place to begin exploring North Wales.

To go with the parks rural location, Dolgamedd takes a natural approach when it comes to the park. Don’t expect to find a swimming pool, bar or shop, instead you are encouraged to use the natural river by the park if you want a dip, though it may not be warm, visit the local public inns to get a true sense of Wales and support the local economy by visiting the local shops and in the village of Dolgellau.

Snowdonia is a stunningly scenic area of North Wales. From the mountains to the coast the area offers a big choice of holiday parks catering for both active and relaxing holidays. For the adventurous there is a massive choice of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, mountain biking and canoeing and for a more relaxed holiday there are castles, historic towns, steam railways, fishing, plenty of attractions and of course beautiful scenery. For boat owners there is a marina at Conwy. It is this diversity that makes Snowdonia appeal to all age groups.

Main towns include Caernarfon, Llanberis, Betws-y-Coed and Llanwrst.

Snowdonia is within easy travelling distance of Manchester, the Midlands and Stoke on Trent.
