Park DescriptionEisteddfa Caravan & Camping Park can be found in the Welsh village of Pentrefelin, just a short distance from the seaside town of Criccieth on the west coast of North Wales. The park itself is set within 11 acres of land in a stunningly picturesque area of panoramic mountain views and toward the coast of Cardigan Bay.
Criccieth is one of the best known towns in this area of Wales and there’s no surprise as to why. From its medieval castle which sits high on a rocky headline overlooking Cardigan Bay, creating a divide of the two beaches which line the edge of the town.
Criccieth is frequently referred to as ‘The Pearl of Wales on the Shires of Snowdonia’ which is aptly true, being situated directly on the coastline minutes away from the borders of Snowdonia. The town is only small, but in it you’ll find a whole host of activities to spend your days enjoying, from browsing the local gift shops to indulging in a fresh meal prepared with only local produce in one of the many stunning bistros in the town.

Local AreaThe Lleyn Peninsula is a peninsula of some 30 miles located south west of Anglesey. The area is best known for its miles of sandy beaches, stunning inland scenery and as a focal point for water sports fans. There is a modern marina at Pwllheli and surfing, sailing, kayaking and jet skiing particularly popular at locations such as Abersoch. The area also boasts a number of good golf courses.
Very popular with younger people and young families, many parks in the area offer longer seasons and many owners enjoy longer stays or commute for the weekends.
Main towns include Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Abersoch.
Although it takes a little longer to the Lleyn Peninsula, travel is easy from the Midlands and north west.
