Park DescriptionFir Trees is a small, exclusive caravan and lodge park that has been family owned for more than 80 years. We take a personal approach to holiday home ownership, with no pushy sales tactics or sales targets. Our long history is built on treating people fairly and providing a friendly, straightforward service.
The park is just a short walk from the beautiful Black Rock Sands. For those who prefer to drive, you can take your car directly onto the beach and enjoy miles of open sand and coastline.
Fir Trees is situated in the village of Morfa Bychan in Gwynedd, North Wales, just west of Porthmadog. The village has its own golf course and trout fishery, while the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring. Porthmadog is close by and provides easy access to the stunning landscapes of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
Everyday essentials are also within easy reach, with a local convenience store, gift shop and fish and chip shop all just a short walk from the park.
Right next door, the Black Rock Beach Club offers a selection of food and drink, along with seasonal live entertainment, making it an easy place to enjoy a meal or an evening out without having to travel far.
Golfers are particularly well placed, with Porthmadog Golf Club right on the doorstep. Overlooking Black Rock Sands, the course combines heathland and links terrain, with the front nine set further inland and the back nine heading towards the coast before opening onto the links.
Fir Trees also benefits from a 10½-month holiday home licence, giving owners an extended season to enjoy their holiday home and the surrounding area.

Local AreaThe Lleyn Peninsula is a peninsula of some 30 miles located south west of Anglesey. The area is best known for its miles of sandy beaches, stunning inland scenery and as a focal point for water sports fans. There is a modern marina at Pwllheli and surfing, sailing, kayaking and jet skiing particularly popular at locations such as Abersoch. The area also boasts a number of good golf courses.
Very popular with younger people and young families, many parks in the area offer longer seasons and many owners enjoy longer stays or commute for the weekends.
Main towns include Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Abersoch.
Although it takes a little longer to the Lleyn Peninsula, travel is easy from the Midlands and north west.
