Park Description

Positioned in the small village of Mynytho, on the Llyn Peninsula, Foel Bach Caravan Park can be found hidden amongst beautiful scenery and farmland. The park is only a short distance from the famous seaside resort of Abersoch and only six miles from the market town of Pwllheli.

Sitting near the tip of the Llyn Peninsula, this area is perfect if you’re looking for fabulous seaside holidays to enjoy time and time again. The main attraction of this area of Wales is without a doubt the sandy beaches which border the coastline, providing you with a beautiful place for you to pass the day, whether sunbathing or playing with the children.

Wildlife is a common site in this part of North Wales. From the many seal sightings you’ll see off the coastline to the special sighting of bottle nosed dolphins further from shore. Not only aquatic wildlife is common in this area, but also birds such as buzzards, guillemots, whitethroats, willow warblers and occasionally puffins can all be sighted.

The area is best known for its miles of sandy beaches, stunning inland scenery and as a focal point for water sports fans. There is a modern marina at Pwllheli and surfing, sailing, kayaking and jet skiing particularly popular at locations such as Abersoch. The area also boasts a number of good golf courses.

Very popular with younger people and young families, many parks in the area offer longer seasons and many owners enjoy longer stays or commute for the weekends.

Main towns include Porthmadog, Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Abersoch.

Although it takes a little longer to the Lleyn Peninsula, travel is easy from the Midlands and north west.
