Park DescriptionLlyn y Gele Caravan Park is situated just above the Llyn Peninsula stretch, between the coastal resort of Pwllheli and the town of Caernarfon, in the small village of Pontllyfni. Llyn y Gele is small, quiet and peaceful park in the countryside with a family friendly atmosphere. The park is only a short distance to the closest beach, roughly a 5 minute walk directly from the park, with local amenities being only 2 miles away, all you need to enjoy your holiday is within close proximity of the park.
This area of Wales is perfect for avid walkers, with many trails starting directly from the park. Snowdonia is but a few minutes from the park, putting some of Wales’ best walks right on your doorstep. Reality can be found in the nearby town of Caernarfon where you’ll find everything you need from shops, restaurants and pubs. Pwllheli is only 7 miles from the park, giving you direct access to some of the best beaches in not only the region, but in the whole country.
