Llyn y Gele Caravan Park is situated just above the Llyn Peninsula stretch, between the coastal resort of Pwllheli and the town of Caernarfon, in the small village of Pontllyfni. Llyn y Gele is small, quiet and peaceful park in the countryside with a family friendly atmosphere.  The park is only a short distance to the closest beach, roughly a 5 minute walk directly from the park, with local amenities being only 2 miles away, all you need to enjoy your holiday is within close proximity of the park.

 

This area of Wales is perfect for avid walkers, with many trails starting directly from the park. Snowdonia is but a few minutes from the park, putting some of Wales’ best walks right on your doorstep. Reality can be found in the nearby town of Caernarfon where you’ll find everything you need from shops, restaurants and pubs. Pwllheli is only 7 miles from the park, giving you direct access to some of the best beaches in not only the region, but in the whole country.

Snowdonia is a stunningly scenic area of North Wales. From the mountains to the coast the area offers a big choice of holiday parks catering for both active and relaxing holidays. For the adventurous there is a massive choice of outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing, mountain biking and canoeing and for a more relaxed holiday there are castles, historic towns, steam railways, fishing, plenty of attractions and of course beautiful scenery. For boat owners there is a marina at Conwy. It is this diversity that makes Snowdonia appeal to all age groups.

Main towns include Caernarfon, Llanberis, Betws-y-Coed and Llanwrst.

Snowdonia is within easy travelling distance of Manchester, the Midlands and Stoke on Trent.
