Park DescriptionWerngoch Caravan Park is a small, peaceful and friendly park situated in the heart of North Wales, near the small market town of Bala and close to Wales’ largest natural lake Llyn Tegid. A truly stunning location for you to enjoy relaxing holidays time and time again.
Werngoch is in a truly stunning location, in the southern area of the Snowdonia National Park, home to spectacular views of rolling hills and countryside. Why would you chose to spend your holidays anywhere else, when you can enjoy the beauty of Wales, this close up? From your caravan on the park, you’ll be able to appreciate close views of the nearby mountains, whilst taking a short walk to Werngoch’s own private shoreline of Llyn Tegid (Bala lake). There is access for sailing, canoeing or paddleboarding with storage for boats.
From the park, the small Welsh town of Bala is only three miles away. Here you’ll be able to find shops and restaurants a plenty, a leisure centre, cinema and a golf course, plenty of recreational activities to enjoy to pass the time. This area of Wales is also very popular for sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing, if you wanted to try your hand at something a bit different. There is even a narrow gorge railway which runsa alongside the lake. The mountain ranges of Aran, Arenig & Berwyn are all close by.
Local activities include stand up paddleboarding, canoeing, sailing, whitewater rafting, abseiling, gorge walking, mountain biking and plenty of walking routes nearby hills and mountains.
